( Bringing her sunglasses with her, she does as Freya says, following her into a smaller back office. Away from prying eyes, or Ivy's ears, Allison takes a seat. )
I think I'm here for you. I've done the research and there's someone powerful here. Maybe both of you, but, something tells me it's you. You're magic.
[Since there's terminology for these things. You can't just go around calling people magic, Allison. But she also is a little on edge, because she's not sure what Allison is looking for, exactly.]
A wide network of hunters, people I'm not affiliated with, are targeting supernaturals across the country. A decade ago, they were small, but faithful. And then they fell off the map.
( And with Allison here, it's probably clear they're back on it. )
They're emerging again. Tracking werewolf packs, hexing witches - we think they've even brought a few witches to their side. They're getting too good at finding people we've hidden. Right now, there are whole packs that keep on the move.
( She narrows her eyes. )
I'm here because Tamara Monroe, their leader, was seen at the Louis Armstrong airport. In New Orleans.
[She doesn't sound like she's not taking this threat seriously, because she understands Allison's concern. She even appreciates the warning. But she also isn't going to entirely trust it on face value, nor is she going to worry about too much when Marcel is still in town.
Some of the Originals - particularly Klaus - may be sneaking off for Hope's graduation, but not all of them. She reaches for her phone, and begins texting out warnings: to Marcel, to Davina, to Aiden, who's acting the role of alpha in the Bayou while Hayley is out of town, telling them to prepare. But her gaze is still focused on Allison.]
[Oh there's a name she knows. It's been a while since she's spoken to Marin Morrell but the wayward reaches of the Bennett line always find their way back to a Mikaelson, one way or another.]
She sent you to find me? Or she sent you to just find the most powerful witch in the room?
( Where magic lit up the brightest, in the largest cluster. )
She didn't know if it would be you, or the Regent. And your regent is cloaked. As she should be. She said that, magic isn't always a constant. One witch could have power, but that same witch, it only takes one decision...
[And she's the brightest spot on the map for a reason. Drawing bad things to her rather than Davina is usually the better call. It's one part penance, two parts strategy, because people come expecting Davina Claire. And they wind up in the hands of a Mikaelson witch.]
And next to the regent, I'm probably the most powerful witch in this city.
( That hand seems like it's an olive branch and like she believes her, so she shakes it with confidence and the strength that comes from being a trained hunter. Late in the game, but still trained.
That's where you come in. I work with an organization, one that's international. It focuses on relocation. When we aren't able to cut the snake off at the head, we move. Literally. It's not you, or the regent, it's every witch and werewolf in New Orleans - that's in danger.
[That is an undertaking that's ... not going to fly. The people of New Orleans don't roll over and run. The streets will run red with blood and the city will burn before they do.
And even if they weren't, she wouldn't be able to make that call for all of them.]
I can't make this decision. As powerful as I am, I'm not one of the faction leaders. You'll have to take this pitch to them.
Three. The Regent of the witches, the Alpha of the Bayou wolves, and the leader of the vampires.
[And then there's the Mikaelson family, who tends to sit apart from all of them, even though they intersect with all three, but Freya can represent their interests well enough.]
[And it's back to her phone again. Davina already wants a meeting and says as much in her texts. Marcel is skeptical at best. Aiden can be in the Quarter in an hour, and will have Hayley on speakerphone.]
We can meet in an hour. That is, if you don't have anything better to do?
[Freya can respect that. And after the requisite phone calls are made, Rosseau's gets shut down for the day and the leaders of the factions begin to trickle in. First Davina, then Marcel, and finally Aiden, who waves a hand in apology.
"Sorry, more traffic than I thought."]
Don't worry. We're just getting to know each other.
[He nods, before holding up the phone with Hayley on FaceTime. She seems to be staying at that one bed and breakfast in Mystic Falls.
"I knew something would make me regret not flying with Klaus."]
( Allison's called in her own reinforcements. Scott in from out of town and her dad.
He introduces himself, but for the most part stays silent. He's a strategist and hunter first and foremost and with Allison older, what she says goes. Allison still consults him in everything. Scott is friendly to everyone, parking his motorcycle out back. So, that's what everyone hears before Allison checks her phone and heads through the back.
She walks him in behind her. )
Everyone, this is Scott McCall.
( He waves to everyone and sets his helmet down on a free seat.
"Everyone."
It's good to be here with everyone. )
Scott's a big part of why this is all possible. He started the network.
( On the West coast when they were a smaller outfit of Scott, Allison, Lydia, Stiles, and Derek. That was tier one. Scott's pack helped where they could. But, for the most part he tried to get his pack to go to college.
"It started with Monroe in Beacon Hills, the town we're from. She rallied everyone together. After beating them back, and taking care of this -- fear demon -- she got away. She didn't stop there." And then he turns to Allison. "How much do they know?" )
I've filled them in what Allison's told me. That you believe hunters are converging on New Orleans.
[She holds up a hand to her chest first, before gesturing to the rest of the people around her.]
I'm Freya Mikaelson. This is Davina Claire, representing the witches, Marcel Gerard representing the vampires and Aiden standing in for the werewolves. On the phone is Hayley Marshall, she's the alpha of the pack.
[Aiden smirks. "I'm honestly mostly just a glorified phone stand at this point."
Hayley laughs. "Your sacrifice is much appreciated."
Marcel, on the other hand, is eyeing the hunters curiously. "I'm wondering why exactly we should be concerned. It's not the first time we've had hunters in New Orleans. And unless they brought that fear demon here with them, they're just humans." He holds up his hands towards the token humans in the room. "No disrespect to the ingenuity of humans, but I'm not seeing the threat."]
One. Scott's not human. And, two, these aren't just human hunters. They're trained civilians. They're dangerous.
( Chris crosses his arms.: "The humans that converged in Beacon Hills had, maybe, a month under their belts. These humans have years. Treat them like a military organization. They're no run-of-the-mill hunters.")
We're not here to decide what you want to do, we're here to communicate. We're here to see if there's something we can help with. Don't tell me how far your factions reach, but tell me if you think we can stop this before it happens.
( Scott nods. "Do you have the resources. The man power."
Chris, sternly, chimes in. (Does he ever smile? Not often.): "They blend in. They'll look like tourists. Some may have already settled in."
Allison looks to Freya, and then to Marcel, to Hayley on her phone, but also to Aiden. )

Mikaelson.
( Like... )

Like the Original family, yes.
[What are you going to do with that, Allison?]
no subject
( Except, Klaus. But, that's implied, right? Her research had not proven well. Then again, that means Freya did her job. )

[If she really wants the much longer story, Freya will tell her, but as she said. Complicated.]

( Really. Interesting. )
A witch from your line would be -- you've descended from great power.

[Hence why she's the brightest light in the city.]
What do you need from me, exactly?
